Your very own flipbook skin can now be created in a few minutes using the new Flipbook Skin Editor. Just set 3 variable colours, add a logo of your choice and... voila! The newly-created skin is ready to be applied to your publications.

In addition, we have moved Hotspots' style editor to this part of yBook. This enables a complete separation between editing publications and designing their look & feel.
2 more options have been introduced to facilitate the use of hotspots. Now it is possible both to copy a hotspot as well as to precisely position it on a page. Use this possibilities to find that manipulating hotspots is a lot easier with yBook 1.2.
To achieve a complete separation between editing publications and designing their look & feel this component has been moved to the Flipbook Skin Editor.

Managing publications has been greatly enhanced. From version 1.2 on, you can not only tag publications with a set of user-defined labels, but also assign them to different categories defined on a particular instance.
Dozens of flipbooks? Just filter them out depending on category.
New options have been introduced to the PDF conversion process, to assure that yBook publications perfectly suit your needs.
During the conversion process it is now possible to specify the flipbook's desired quality level. Just set it somewhere between 20 (lowest possible quality) and 100 (highest possible quality) to customize your publication. Lower values result in more lightweight flipbooks, whereas publications gain on quality with higher ones. The default level of 60 is recommended for most cases.
Furthermore, you no longer need to convert all of your PDF's pages. With a new option you can specify the page range that you want to convert, ensuring that the output is exactly what you demand.
Due to the ever increasing amount of options, we have split the conversion process into 3 steps. What you most likely will be familiar with is Step 1, where some basic options are available - from setting your flipbook's title and uploading a PDF file to defining a copyright. Step 2 is a novelty, as it provides users with a selection of available skins for use with new flipbooks. Advanced conversion options, as well as Categories, both described on this page, are accessible in Step 3. In addition, this screen enables you to set other settings, including keywords or labels.
yBook team hopes you find the above-described changes facilitating and adding value to the process of making digital publications on-line.
